This year’s Winter Conference will be held at the Renold Building, University of Manchester on 10-11th January 2018. The meeting will start at approximately 10.15 am on the Wednesday and finish on the Thursday at around 5 pm.

We have two invited speakers:

• ‘GaN-on-Si integrated photonics’, Dr Philippe Boucaud, Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies, CNRS, Université Paris-Sud
• ‘GaN Nanoelectronics’, Dr Tomas Palacios, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology,

In contrast to previous years, you will also need to book accommodation yourself. Special rates are available via the accommodation booking website.

Abstracts on any aspect of nitride science and technology can be submitted online until Friday 1st December for oral or poster presentations. The organisers will review the abstracts before creating the final programme.

This conference is the premier event for showcasing your work on III-nitride semiconductors. Open to industry and academia, it provides the opportunity to hear from distinguished plenary speakers, discuss ideas with other delegates and initiate new collaborations.
