The next winter meeting of the UKNC will be held at the Holiday Inn, Bond Street, Bristol City Centre, on the 7th and 8th of January 2014.
The meeting will start at 10.30 am on the Tuesday and finish the following day at around 5 pm.

- Marianne Germain, EpiGaN, Belgium: GaN on Si for power electronics.

Call for contributions:
Submissions on any aspect of nitride science and technology are considered appropriate and should be sent to Ted Thrush by Monday 2nd of December 2013 although earlier notification would be appreciated. Please indicate whether an oral or poster presentation is preferred.
I would strongly urge those wishing to present their work at this meeting to send a short abstract as this helps greatly in the selection process and the planning of the programme. At the very least the submissions MUST include the title and a full list of authors and their affiliations. A compilation of the abstracts will be circulated prior to the meeting, if you wish your abstract to be included can I ask that it be supplied in a state that can be copied and pasted easily, say in Word with a minimum of esoteric formatting, in addition to a PDF version.
